Friends don't let friends become Death Eaters. Happy Wednesday. Today I am starting my @katucker _ marathon, and I am excited! Last night I finished a book, that I will not name, that was totally not for me. It's my first rating under 3 stars in a long time. And I got to thinking, how does everyone rate their books? For work, I try to put my personal feelings as much as possible to the side as I consider the story, character arcs, writing, and audience. (Because I think reviews are all still opinion, right?) . But here on Bookstagram, while I try to do the same, I allow my personal feelings to more heavily influence my rating. (And try to make it clear its my PERSONAL feeling. Never an attack on the book or author.) . Consider: No two people ever read the same book. So what about you? How do you rate books? What makes a 5 star read for you? Isn't 3 stars a weird gray area? Haha. I give books I liked 3 stars, and books that weren't really for me, but still written well a 3 as well. . ‼️Shirt by @caffeinatedcreators . Thanks to @thebirdybook @unidentified626 @abookacount @thedarkestpartsofsnow @readsleepfangirl and @librostagram for tagging me in #20beautifulwomen #bookishselfy , and #ootdandbook
