Do you have a favorite rom-com? (Book or film) For me, “The Rosie Project”, “The Hating Game”, “When Dimple Met Rishi”, and TATBILB are some of my faves. Fave films are “She’s All That”, “10 Things I Hate About You”, “The Princess Bride”, “Notting Hill”, “You’ve Got Mail” (like mostly films from the late 90s. Ha) I received this ARC of “The Meet-Cute Project” by Rhiannon Richardson recently and it’s been marketed as a book for people who love TATBILB and Save the Date— which are two books I really love!! I love Valentine’s Day and this seems like the perfect February read for me, so I’m excited to start it. I’ve been reading a lot of romance-based books lately, and this one sounds really fun. (And honestly, the cover is just so cute!) Do you have favorite feel-good romance books you like to read? Synopsis: Mia’s friends love rom-coms. Mia hates them. They’re silly, contrived, and not at all realistic. Besides, there are more important things to worry about—like how to handle living with her bridezilla sister, Sam, who’s never appreciated Mia, and surviving junior year juggling every school club offered and acing all of her classes. So when Mia is tasked with finding a date to her sister’s wedding, her options are practically nonexistent. Mia’s friends, however, have an idea. It’s a little crazy, a little out there, and a lot inspired by the movies they love that Mia begrudgingly watches too. Mia just needs a meet-cute. #themeetcuteproject #rhiannonrichardson #valentinesdayread #meetcute #romance
