I do love a good curse, so today I thought I’d use that cellphone battery percentage game I’ve seen going around for some literary curses. Tell me which curse you have based on how much power your cell/computer battery has right now: 100-90% Cursed that no one believes you 80-70% Cursed to never be remembered 60-50% Cursed into enchanted sleep 40-30% Cursed to turn into a beast 20-10% Cursed with immortality 10 and below Cursed to lose one of your talents I read Ashley Poston’s “Geekerella” a couple years ago and it just wasn’t for me. But when I saw the cover for “Among the Beasts & Briars” and read the synopsis, I knew I had to give this one a shot. (Thank you to @balzerandbray for gifting me this copy). I love when authors write in different genres and give me something new to try out. Someone described it to me as something reminiscent of a child’s fairytale and that was a big selling point for me. I still regularly read children’s fairytale stories and would love to something with that feel that is also much longer! Do you have a favorite fairytale?
