BLOOD & HONEY Being that this was one of my most

BLOOD & HONEY Being that this was one of my most anticipated books of 2020, I’m sad I didn’t love this as much as SERPENT & DOVE. To be fair, I feel like nothing would have compared to meeting these characters for the first time. S&D was pure magic. I feel like this one had that sequel lull; It wrapped up a lot from book 1 and set the stage for book 3, but wasn’t as captivating on it’s own. I will say there was a lot more world building in this book, so for fantasy-lovers who missed that element in S&D, it might be worth checking this one out! I love Lou and Reid so so much but they were both pretty annoying in this one (am I alone with this?). I guess if you’re dealing with magic, self-discovery, love, and constant life-or-death situations, you’re bound to be at least mildly unreasonable 🤷🏾‍♀️. I still wanted to shake them like 80% of the time. And that ending! I have two words: Heart. Broken! I cried, like ugly cried, at this ending. All in all, this book was a mixed bag of emotions and I need the next book like yesterday. Does anybody have any guesses to what book 3 will be titled? I have no idea but it has to be epic!
