Heyyyyyyyyyy Henny, Happy Tuesday or whateva. The thing about school is that while it’s stressful I low key enjoy it at times. I’m an English major which means that even if I’m in school I get to do what I love doing the most and that is reading. Don’t get me wrong school stresses me the fuck out but I love when I just get to sit down read a book and then get ready to dissect it with a class. So even though I’m mad that my summer vacation has ended I’m still in my happy place in some sense. Here are some of the classes I’m taking this semester: - American Crime Fiction - The Victorian Novel - Shakespearean Literature - Intro Article Writing - Public History I think this semester will be a really interesting one with these courses. I’m ready to learn new things and think critically. On other news, this summer I wanted to get the chance to read Girl, Woman, Other which has been on my shelf since it was longlisted for the Booker Prize last year. However, I, unfortunately, didn’t get the chance to get to it because I’m a mood reader so I be all over the place. Henny! The struggle is real. I feel like everyone has read this book though and I’m the last read on earth that is still hoarding it. So I want to know, what book makes you feel this way? What book have you had for the longest time and still have not read?
