What books have broken your heart? ( #ad @readriordan ) Or maybe you have an author that you can always count on to hit you in the feels? We have just about two months until the release of the fifth and final book in the #TrialsofApolloSeries (“The Tower of Nero” hits shelves on October 6!) and I admit that after “The Burning Maze” (book3) I couldn’t bring myself to pick up “The Tyrant’s Tomb” (book4) Rick Riordan always hits me in the feels, but that Burning Maze left me in a WRECK. If you had told me at the beginning of the Heroes of Olympus series that my emotions would be in this state over a certain thing by the end of The Trials of Apollo I would not have believed you. haha. Yet here we are, and I only have Uncle Rick to blame. But it’s time to catch up and get ready for “The Tower of Nero” and see how the finale of this series plays out for Apollo. In these finals days of summer, it’s time to go back to Camp Half-Blood. The Trials of Apollo has really grown on me. When I first started it, I wasn’t feeling Apollo too much. He and Meg are kind of the worst. But this series is a direct continuation of the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series and there’s no way I would miss them. So I kept reading and it’s been a lot of fun to see favorite characters make appearances and get involved in each book, and to learn more about Apollo (who I can appreciate now). It’s time to see how this prophecy plays out and time for me to gather up the pieces of my shredded heart and prepare for the final book! Do you have a favorite Greek God? I’m partial to Athena and Hades! #camphalfblood #thetrialsofapollo #rickriordan #unclerick #thehiddenoracle #thedarkprophecy #theburningmaze #thetyrantstomb #thetowerofnero
