Does anyone else ever imagine themselves in theoretical

Does anyone else ever imagine themselves in theoretical situations just to think through what they would do? If you had to go into hiding or start your life over, where would you go? . I got to thinking about this (again. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t do this kind of thought exercise regularly) after reading the synopsis of Courtney Maum’s upcoming “Costalegre” (thank you to @tin _house for gifting me this copy.) With Europe on the brink of war in 1937, an American heiress and modern art collector begins shipping her favorite art (and artists) to Mexico to avoid their destruction by Hitler. (Full synopsis in comments) I kept wondering where I might try to disappear to. I met Courtney Maum a few years ago when she was touring for her book “Touch”, and I marvel at how all her books are so different from each other. This little beauty doesn’t release until July, but I’m looking forward to reading a different type of WWII story than I’m used to. . #costalegre #courtneymaum #WWII #historicalfiction #amreading #bookphotography #booknerdigans #booknerd #amreading ng #instaread #booksbooksbooks #bookobsessed #vscobooks #flatlay #bookflatlay #bookaesthetic #bookrecommendation #bibliophile #bookcommunity
