Bee Brave . As a bee lover, this pin is quite possibly one of my top favorite things to ever come in my @litjoycrate , so I couldn’t miss today’s LitJoy photo challenge to share something that takes courage to share. . This is less about the courage to share, and more about how I needed to be brave. I have always considered myself to be a roll-with-the-punches kind of person. I’m pretty easy going and it wasn’t ever really hard for me to swallow life changes. But in the last 2.5 years we’ve had a lot of changes and life disruptions in our lives. We moved to a new state, struggled with difficulty to have more kids, and made some big life course changes. I found that I was surprised at how much I was unable to roll with these new changes. . I’ll save you the emotional drama caption. But I will say that after going into this dark hole of stress and anxiety at the end of last year, I started to realize that part of my problem was that I just wasn’t giving myself the time to work through my feelings. Since I’d always been able to change course easily, I really didn’t understand the concept of taking each day at a time. It does require courage to take your disappointments and changes head on and work through them. There is a lot in our lives that we can change, and there are a lot of things that we can’t or don’t make sense or requires us to stretch and grow—and for me, it’s required some bravery on my part to change my attitude, find good solutions, and accept my good life in the form it’s taken right now. . Anyone else ever feel like this? . #suitorsandsabotage #cindyanstey #photochallenge #honey #enamelpin
