Why is a raven like a writing desk? . I guess Lewis Carroll said that in the original book there was no answer, but to get people to quit asking him he gave this response: “Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front.” (with the ‘never’ as ‘nevar’—raven spelled backward. . If you look up on Reddit or around the internet you’ll find plenty of fun answers though. I think my favorite is Sam Loyd’s “because Poe wrote on both”. . Today I’m featuring this beautiful “Alice in Wonderland” baby blanket by @storiarts (you can use my rep code: FOLDEDPAGES for 10% off your purchase) Not only is it good to wrap babies in, but we’ve enjoyed draping on my daughters bed as a decorative blanket and also laying on it and literally using it as a story book for my daughter to practice sounding out words. ha. . Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many of us consider a classic book as “our favorite book of all time”. (let’s not even get into the whole “ can’t pick a favorite book” debate. haha) I was just thinking that for the most part, Harry Potter aside, most people choose a classic when they pick a favorite. (And for good reason, as they are usually the first we are introduced to and gather good memories alongside great stories) Do you fall into that category? And which one do you pick? . #aliceinwonderland #lewiscarroll #storiarts #teaparty #teatime
