So, I actually didn’t even know that there was another book

So, I actually didn’t even know that there was another book coming out about Lou Clark from “Me Before You” until last week. Which is funny because I recently (finally) watched the film and then had some long text discussions with a friend about the story. (me, who really liked it, and she who didn’t. And it was actually a really eye opening conversation that made me see the story in a totally different way.) . Anyway, I still haven’t read “After You”, even though I pulled it down off my shelf after watching the “Me Before You” film. I was torn between wanting to read about how Lou’s story continues on after “Me Before You”, and actually not wanting to read how it continues. ha. . But it’s funny how my reader heart was torn about the book directly after “Me Before You” but so ready to dive into “Still You”, a book one removed from it. ha. So many feelings. I’m not even sure how I get any books read with this kind of mentality. I loved Lou and I like the sound of this story, too. . Synopsis in a nutshell is that we follow Lou to New York City where she begins working for a wealthy family. She finds herself town between the penthouse where she works and the vintage clothing store where she feels at home. “with plenty of fashion faux-pas, city lights, and hours spent chasing her dream career, Lou Clark is back.” . Thank you to @VikingBooks for sending me this review copy, I was surprised at how much I actually wanted to read this one and am looking forward to it. Now I’m wondering if I need to finally face “After You” in order to get to “Still You” or not. haha. Probably. It’s probably time anyway. . Who has read “After You”, any non-spoiler thoughts? Anyone understand why I wasn’t sure I wanted to read it? haha. Happy Book Birthday to “Still You” (yesterday). #JoJoMoyes #StillMe #MeBeforeYou #AfterYou #newrelease
