Happy Sunday! After two weeks of missing my regular body

Happy Sunday! After two weeks of missing my regular body combat class due to traveling, I went in on Friday and did the new release and I’m so sore today! Lounging in bed with a book sounds like a good idea. 😂 . I recently was happily surprised to receive this review copy of Christina Baker Kline’s “A Piece of the World”. I have not read one of her stories since “Orphan Train” (which I read twice. Once on my own and again for book club, and loved). I love her way of doing historical fiction and this story delves into a little talked about piece of American history. (Synopsis in comments) . Starting with historical fiction is my favorite way to learn about history. It really brings the time and events to life for me. Then I like to go do some research on my own to learn about it textbook style. I’m interested to do both with Kline’s novel. This one released last year and recently in paperback. Any non-spoiler thoughts? . What are you reading this Sunday? Anything good I should be adding to my list? #christinabakerkline #apieceoftheworld #socksunday #onthebed #historicalfiction #booksofinstagram
