I remember suddenly realizing I was getting to the last 100 pages of Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo and feeling like there was way too much that needed to happen before the trilogy ended. Instead of lounging on my sofa, I sat upright and rigid with tension until I read to the end. Haha. (spoiler alert: Bardugo pulled it off) . I was scrolling Pinterest and saw this phrase and thought of all the times authors have left me waiting in the delicious misery of a cliffhanger. Ha. (Actually I remember not too long ago getting a text from @ursula _uriarte while she was reading Prosper Redding by Alex Bracken the moment she realized it wasn’t a stand-alone book like she initially thought. Ha. Her exact words were “there aren’t enough pages left!”) . What are some of your favorite cliffhanger books (or maybe even books that ended completely and left you wanting) NO SPOILERS THOUGH! . I think an Ember in the Ashes, Strange The Dreamer, Gemina, City of Lost Souls, Blue Lily, Lily Blue, and Inkspell are a few of my top killer cliffhangers.
