This quote has always made me laugh cause it's so true for me. 😂 Last night we decorated the house for Halloween and I started thinking it might be fun to get a good list going of good reads for October. September and November I want Fall reads, but October demands something different and more atmospheric, right? . Comment some good October reads and let's get a good list going for people to browse. Horror, spooky, creepy, thrilling (and maybe indicate what kind it is so I don't pick a horror book and never sleep again.) For me, I'd say something like The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding (spooky and fun middlegrade) The Raven Cycle (this series gets creepier and more unsettling as it goes) and maybe even Night Circus, which makes me think of Fall, but also Halloween with all the costumes.
