Today’s photo is a little out of my norm, but that’s because I’m following this month’s @bookofthemonth posting theme! In the month of September, BOTM wants you to show how reading fits into your life by: including yourself in the photo, featuring your September selection (or your favorite if you picked multiple), and showing your reading spot. . I’m usually reading on my bed or my couch, and I always have one or two dogs by my side (or on my lap, on my chest, wedged between my legs… we don’t call them snuggle pugs for nothing.) I’m not one of those people who easily reads outside or in public places, so I prefer to read at home in the afternoon when my bebe is napping or in the evening when the house is sleeping. . From this month’s five selections, I picked “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng, “Sourdough” by Robin Sloan, “Sing, Unburied, Sing” by Jessmyn Ward. (Sourdough warrants a trip into San Fransisco with my copy for a bread binge, I think…) . The other two options are “Lies She Told” by Cate Holahan and “Emma in the Night” by Wendy Walker. . Alright, y’all, you know how this goes down. You have until the 7th to pick the book you want to receive this month OR skip. Shipping in the US is always free and you can add an additional book for $9.99, which is a great deal for a new hardcover. . Tell me where your favorite places to read are! . #botmambassador #bookofthemonth
