After the cliffhanger ending in “See How They Run” by @theallycarter , I’ve been waiting since last December for the third and final installment of the #EmbassyRow series. . “Take the Key and Lock Her Up” hit shelves last week and I’m excited to finish this series. . I read both "All Fall Down” and “See How They Run” in January of 2016 when I chatted with Ally Carter about what inspired the series, for an article I was writing. Besides all the action that comes with solving mysteries, uncovering international conspiracies, and trying to figure out who is actually her friend and who is against her, one of my favorite parts about this series is that I can confidently hand it to readers of any age. Carter keeps her story focused on action and mystery, and even though there is some romance involved, these are very clean reads. I love recommending these to tween readers that are itching to get into YA and older plot lines, yet aren’t ready for romance heavy or “language” filled reads—or for people like me that would rather the romance take a back seat to the action. . Today I partnered with @ireadYA to bring you the series synopsis! Who else is ready to figure out where Carter takes this final installment after that cliffhanger in “See How They Run”?? . Series Synopsis: This exciting series focuses on Grace, who can best be described as a daredevil, an Army brat, and a rebel. She is also the only granddaughter of perhaps the most powerful ambassador in the world, and Grace has spent every summer of her childhood running across the roofs of Embassy Row. Now, at age sixteen, she’s come back to stay— in order to solve the mystery of her mother’s death. In the process, she uncovers an international conspiracy of unsettling proportions, and must choose her friends and watch her foes carefully if she and the world are to be saved. . #AllyCarter #ireadYA
