I may not be Scandinavian, but I enjoy a good Woodland Tea Party or Midsummer Feast just the same. Haha. . I was thrilled to receive this cookbook "Scandinavian Gatherings: From Afternoon Fika to Midsummer Feast, 70 simple recipes and crafts for everyday celebrations" by Melissa Bahen, who I actually already recognized from her website, LuLuTheBaker.com. . I love hosting parties. Especially tea parties. Ha. And I loved that everything in this book was festive and centered on celebration and gathering. . Not only are there recipes (and tons of pictures, which is actually very very important to me in a cookbook), but there are several templates in the back so you can make everything you see in the photos, as well as many tutorials. (Also downloadable online) . I'm actually using the woodland tea party recipes and crafts for my daughter's birthday party this month and another section of the book for Christmas morning brunch. . (I will have video of the inside up on my IG stories.) . Which kind of cookbooks are your favorite? What are some of your favorite meals or treats to make?
