Maybe I’m late to the Magisterium party, BUT I’M HERE! . With the release of The Bronze Key at the very end of August, I decided it was time that I jump in. As I have said before, it’s not like me to start a series this way. If I discover a series before it’s all been published, I just wait until the entire series is finished and marathon the whole thing. . The only time I purposely make myself suffer through the year long wait (or longer) between releases is when I’ve been with a series from the very first release date. . But there is something about the Magisterium series that entices me so much, I can’t wait. Maybe it’s the amazing covers, maybe it’s because it’s co-written by two of my favorite authors Holly Black and Cassandra Clare, maybe I heard it was a wee bit like Harry Potter, or maybe it’s because I need some middle grade in my life right now. All I know is that I’ll be reading these soon and then joining everyone in the wait for the final two books in this five book series. . Who else has read these? Has anyone already finished The Bronze Key? . What are some series books that you are anticipating releases for? . Synopsis: Most kids would do anything to pass the Iron Trial. Not Callum Hunt. He wants to fail. All his life, Call has been warned by his father to stay away from magic. If he succeeds at the Iron Trial and is admitted into the Magisterium, he is sure it can only mean bad things for him. So he tries his best to do his worst - and fails at failing. Now the Magisterium awaits him. It's a place that's both sensational and sinister, with dark ties to his past and a twisty path to his future. The Iron Trial is just the beginning, for the biggest test is still to come . . .
