I know that many of us have been working on reading our back list TBR (books that have remained unread on our shelves for longer than a year) Is this a goal of yours this year? How is it going? Last year I was able to knock out 43 backlist books. So far, in 2020, I’ve only read 3 backlist books. (I just reread 5 old favorite books in a row though…so my reread game is strong right now 🤦🏻‍♀️😂.) . I admit that when “The Lost Future of Pepperharrow” arrived on my doorstep (thank you to @bloomsburypublishing for gifting me this copy), I recognized the gorgeous cover style that tells me automatically it’s a book by Natasha Pulley— but I didn’t realize right away that this one was the sequel to ‘The Watchmaker of Filigree Street”, a book that is on my backlist TBR. So I guess that means it’s time for me to get rolling on Watchmaker this year! . It’s been very satisfying finally reading many of the books that have been sitting unread on my shelves for so long, but some times it’s hard to know where to start when you’re staring at a pile of books that have been around long enough to start blending in. The release of a sequel was just the right nudge for me. Time to find out if these books are as good as their gorgeous covers suggest! ha. . #thewatchmakeroffiligreestreet #thelostfutureofpepperharrow #natashapulley #steampunk #amreading #bookpics
