What kind of books make you super emotional? This isn’t hard and fast for me, but I find I get most angry in fantasy and most likely to cry in contemporary or historical fiction. “Butterfly in Frost” ( #ad ) is Sylvia Day’s ( @sylvia _day) latest release and novella companion to her multi-million bestselling Crossfire Saga. (This standalone features new characters, but fans will still see a familiar face) . I think contemporary relationships and family dynamics always hit me harder because they are relatable on more levels. And if you throw in anything that deals with motherhood or children— I’m emotional. haha. . In “Butterfly” we follow Teagan in her new life. She’s settled in a place she loves, in a home she renovated, and with good new friends and a great fulfilling job. She’s reconciling the past and working towards her future. Then Garrett Frost moves next door and his bold and obstinate ways disrupt her careful new life. But he has ghosts and torment haunting him that Teagan can recognize— but she’s afraid she is still to fragile to deal with the storms he’s dealing with. . This novella is 187 pages, with a big twist, and a quick read for anyone looking for an emotional romance.
