Did you read the Archie comics when you were a kid? I

Did you read the Archie comics when you were a kid? I wasn’t much into comics as a kid, but I did read these. I feel like they are so iconic most people have read them or know about them, right? . When I found out that the show “Riverdale” was loosely based on the Archie comics, I was intrigued. But I also heard that the show was creepy—and between that and not really having the patience or ability to commit to shows with an actual plot— I didn’t bother with it. . Then at the beginning of this month I hit a reading slump pretty hard. So I sat down one night with my lap top and was about to hit up some kind of documentary or food show, when Riverdale popped up in my recommended. I just decided to give it a go on a whim, and suddenly it was the wee hours of the morning and I’d spent basically the whole night binging the first and part of the second season. I loved all the little nods to the comics and, if you’ve been watching my stories, you know I’m in love with Betty and Jughead’s relationship. I got about 10 episodes into season three before my binging stamina gave out (not to mention that season three is hella weird) but I do plan on finishing it and continuing to watch the show. It’s nuts and the people on that show have very serious problems. haha. But Jughead and Betty keep me going back. . Do you have a favorite character in the comics or the show? Do you like the way they adapted the show? . #jugheadjones #bettycooper #riverdale #archieandrews #genderbendcosplay
